Musselburgh Lightweight Tartan is a bright blue-based tartan with shades of yellow and orange. Woven using 100% Pure New Acrylic Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.
This Pattern was devised for the Musselburgh “Riding of the Marches” celebrations in 1956. The tartan represents the colors of Musselburgh, its Fisher row fishermen and Crusaders Riding Club. The event traditionally took place every 21 years, and such had been the case for some 400 years
